The thesis
Andreas Preuninger's first GT-treatment of a mid-engine Cayman, packing a 3.8L flat-six from the 991 Carrera S and manual-only. GT4 values have appreciated strongly since launch but remain more accessible than 997 RS variants. The 981 GT4 is the analogue predecessor to the turbocharged 718, but pricing suggests much of the run has already happened—UK average is circa £77k, well up from original RRP.
