Is the Porsche Cayman a good investment?

The thesis

The 981 Cayman GTS is the pinnacle of the naturally aspirated flat-six Cayman range, with 340bhp from the 3.4L engine, Sport Chrono, PASM, and aggressive styling. It's the last NA Cayman before the turbocharged 718 generation. Manual examples are highly prized, and current UK values sit £48–62k for good examples. However, this places the 981 GTS mostly above the user's £55k ceiling, limiting its suitability. It's a brilliant car but a stretch financially for this brief.
