Andreas Preuninger fought internally to give the 718 GT4 the 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six from the 911 GT3, making it the last NA Cayman and a mid-engine purist's dream. Current UK prices average £96k, well below your budget ceiling, but the car punches above its weight: same engine as the 991.2 GT3, manual gearbox, and mid-engine balance. Production ended in 2023; successor GT4 RS is PDK-only and £150k+, leaving the manual GT4 as the 'last of breed'. Market is just beginning to recognise its significance.
