Is the Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 a good investment?
Manual (2011)
The thesis
The ultimate 997 and the largest naturally aspirated 911 engine ever (4.0L, 500hp). Only 600 built globally, and it's the last GT3 RS of the Mezger-engine era. Market is holding steady in the £200–280k range, reflecting strong collector recognition. However, this car has already had its major run (climbed from ~£100k in mid-2010s to £200k+ today) and sits at the top of its cycle. Still a blue-chip hold, but less upside than earlier-cycle candidates and sits at lower end of your budget.
