The 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 is the ultimate 997 and widely regarded as the last true analogue GT3. It was the swan song for the Mezger engine and the final GT3 RS before the 991 generation moved to PDK-only and a wider, heavier platform. Current market pricing is strong, typically £350–500k, and it is already a modern icon. The combination of rarity, Mezger heritage, manual gearbox, and 'last of its kind' status offers robust capital preservation and likely modest appreciation for the best examples.
