Is the Porsche 997.2 GT3 a good investment?
Manual (2009–2012)
The thesis
The 997.2 GT3 is the last manual-only GT3 Porsche built, housing a 3.8L naturally-aspirated Mezger flat-six and representing the end of an analogue era. Only 2,200 examples were produced worldwide, meeting both low-production and last-of-breed criteria. Prices in the UK have cooled from 2024 highs and now sit between £80k–£110k for good examples. The 991 PDK generation that followed removed the manual option entirely, cementing this car's cult status among purists.
