Is the Porsche 997.2 GT3 a good investment?

The 997.2 GT3 offered a 3.8L Mezger flat-six with 435hp and a manual-only transmission, bridging the gap between the .1 and the legendary RS 4.0. It's the last non-RS GT3 with the Mezger engine. Current UK market pricing sits around £120–150k; values have risen steadily but remain below the stratospheric RS 4.0. Less rare than the 4.0 but still a pure, analogue GT3 experience.
