Is the Porsche 997.2 Carrera GTS a good investment?
6-speed manual coupe (2011–2012)
The thesis
The 997.2 Carrera GTS is the last NA non-GT 911, with 408hp, wide Carrera 4 body, sports exhaust, and PASM as standard. Manual examples are trading £55–75k—far below GT3 money but offering 90% of the experience. It's the final naturally aspirated Carrera and occupies a Goldilocks zone: usable, fast, analog, and not yet priced like a collectible. 991 GTS went turbo, making the 997.2 GTS the end of an era.
