Is the Porsche 911 R a good investment?
991 (2016)
The thesis
The 991 R is a GT3 RS without the wing, paired with a six-speed manual and limited to 991 units. It was Porsche's homage to the 1967 911 R and became an instant collectible. Manual transmission, 500 hp 4.0L NA flat-six, and sub-1,400 kg weight deliver the purist 911 experience. Values have stabilised post-2021 peak but remain strong. Fits budget and ticks manual, NA, and rarity boxes.
