The thesis

991-era homage to the original 911 R: naturally-aspirated 4.0L flat-six (500hp), six-speed manual, and lightweight GT3 RS mechanicals in a sleeker, more subtle body. Limited to 991 units globally. Initially flipped for huge premiums over MSRP, then corrected. Now stabilised at £220-300k. Offers manual purist appeal and genuine rarity, but market arguably already priced much of the scarcity premium in. Fits budget and ticks drivetrain criteria, yet upside may be limited compared to earlier-cycle candidates.
