The thesis
The 997.2 GT3 manual (3.8L Mezger flat-six, 435 hp) is one of the last naturally aspirated, hydraulic-steering GT3s. Recent UK asking prices £90–135k. It occupies a sweet spot: more affordable than the 997 GT3 RS 4.0 (now £450k+) yet rarer and more analog than 991.2 GT3 manuals (£180–220k). Market recognition is growing but the 997.2 has not yet fully run.
