Is the Porsche 911 GT3 a good investment?
997.1 manual (2007–2009)
The thesis
The 997.1 GT3 combines the legendary Mezger 3.6L naturally aspirated flat-six (415hp) with a mandatory six-speed manual and analog driving purity. Current US market shows consistent $100k–$150k range with 917 units sold in the US, placing it squarely in budget. It's entering appreciation territory as the last truly analog GT3 before electronic evolution, but hasn't yet reached the premium of the 997.2 or RS variants.
