Is the Porsche 911 GT3 a good investment?

The thesis

After 991.1 GT3 went PDK-only, Porsche reintroduced the manual in 991.2 following 911 R demand. This is a 4.0L, 9,000rpm naturally-aspirated masterpiece with a proper six-speed, widely praised as one of the greatest driver's cars of the modern era. Current UK data shows well-specced examples in the £140–200k band. Still relatively fresh (2017–19 production), it hasn't had the run-up of older models and represents the sweet spot: modern usability, analogue purity, strong residuals. The 992 GT3 remains available but turbocharged 911s dominate the range, cementing 991.2 GT3 manual as a 'last' moment.
