The thesis

The 991.1 GT3 initially launched PDK-only, causing uproar. Porsche later added a manual option for 991.2. Early 991.1 cars (all PDK) now trade £110k–£160k, below the user's budget midpoint but offering 475hp, 9,000rpm, and the first GT3 with active rear-steer. However, the lack of a manual and the fact that 991.2 manuals exist at similar money makes this a weaker proposition for an enthusiast prioritising three pedals and future value.
