Is the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS a good investment?
997.2 Manual (2010-2012)
The thesis
The 997.2 Carrera GTS sits between the Carrera S and GT3, offering 408hp from the 3.8L naturally aspirated flat-six, wider bodywork, and Sport Chrono as standard—all with a manual gearbox. It is the last normally aspirated non-GT 911 before the entire Carrera range went turbocharged with 991.2 in 2015. More usable than a GT3, rarer than a Carrera S, and still affordable. Values stable at £70-110K; significant appreciation headroom as 'last NA Carrera' narrative crystallizes.
