Is the Porsche 911 a good investment?
997 GTS 3.8 Manual (2010–2012)
The thesis
The 997 GTS is increasingly recognized as the sweet spot: 408hp 3.8L naturally aspirated flat-six, wide-body stance, manual gearbox, and Powerkit as standard. It was the last generation of 911 before turbocharging became ubiquitous. Manual examples command premiums and the GTS sits between Carrera S and GT models in character—usable daily but with real performance. As the market reappraises naturally aspirated 911s, the GTS is undervalued relative to GT cars and offers steady appreciation potential.
