Is the Porsche 911 (997.2) a good investment?
GT3 RS 4.0 (2011–2012)
The thesis
The 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0 is the last manual GT3 ever built and the final iteration of the Mezger-engined 997 line. With only 603 units produced globally and approximately 30 for the UK market, it represents the apex of naturally aspirated, hydraulic-steering 911s. Widely regarded as Porsche's finest road car to date, values have risen steadily; low-mileage UK examples now command £600k–£800k, with exceptional cars at £800k. The 'last-of-breed' status is absolute and undeniable.
