The thesis

The 991.2 GT2 RS is the most extreme modern 911—700hp, rear-drive, Nürburgring record-holder at launch. UK median sits £327k with range £206k–£807k, reflecting spec variance (Weissach package commands premiums). Production was short (2018–2019) and limited; cars with low miles and desirable options (carbon ceramics, PTS colours) trade £400k–£535k. Unlike the 991 R and GT3 RS 4.0, the GT2 RS hasn't yet peaked—collector focus remains on manual GT cars, leaving this PDK-only twin-turbo beast undervalued relative to its performance envelope and future classic status. As turbocharged 911s become the norm, the GT2 RS's analogue feel and limited run position it for mid-term appreciation.
