Is the Porsche 911 (991.2) a good investment?
GT3 Manual (2018–2019)
The thesis
Porsche reintroduced the manual for the 991.2 GT3 after PDK-only 991.1, and the 4.0L NA flat-six is a modern icon. Manual 991.2 GT3s are highly sought after, averaging $197k (≈£157k) with highs at $301k. UK prices sit £160k–£240k. The 991.2 is in 'depreciation-to-stabilization transition' per Hypercars. Manual cars and special editions are finding floors. Not last-of-breed (992 GT3 continues manual/NA), but this generation captures the sweet spot before hybrid encroachment.
