Is the Porsche 718 Cayman a good investment?

The 718 Cayman GT4 (manual) is the last naturally aspirated, manual-transmission mid-engine Porsche before the 718 goes all-electric. Discontinued after 2023, it featured a 4.0L flat-six derived from the 911 and was initially manual-only. Current pricing averages $118k, well within budget and still close to original MSRP. The market hasn't yet priced in its 'last of breed' status; collector recognition is building but not peaked. The GT4 RS (PDK-only, track-focused) trades higher, but the manual GT4 offers the purer driver's car narrative at accessible money.
