The thesis

The 718 GT4 (981 generation successor, confusingly named 718) brought back the 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six and manual gearbox after the four-cylinder 718 disappointment. Shares GT3 suspension and engine architecture. Last mid-engined Porsche GT car with NA engine and manual – 992 GT4 RS is PDK-only. Strong Porsche residuals, genuinely usable daily, and early in appreciation cycle as newer model. PDK examples exist but manuals are prized.
