Is the Lotus Exige a good investment?

Toyota-engined reliability meets Lotus chassis magic. The S2 supercharged cars (217–260 bhp variants) hold value well, now £27–£42k. Manual-only, sub-900kg, and track-ready with daily usability. Overshadowed by V6 Exige but enthusiasts increasingly prize the lighter, simpler S2. Solid following, but not yet bid to stratospheric levels. Room to run as analogue lightweight segment heats up.
