Is the Lotus Exige a good investment?

The thesis

Fifty units globally, supercharged 1.8L Toyota/Yamaha making 243hp, 0–60 in 3.9s, manual only. Yellow or black livery. Pre-dates the productionised Exige S, making it the rarest factory-forced S2 variant. Current market £32–40k with one 19k-mile example at £33k. Extreme rarity and track pedigree haven't fully translated to pricing yet. Risk: supercharged (not NA), but scarcity and Lotus Sport provenance offer a credible early-cycle bet.
