Is the Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 SV a good investment?
6.5 V12 E-gear (2009–2010)
The thesis
Final and most extreme Murciélago, with only 308 units produced globally (some sources cite 186 coupes). The last pure naturally-aspirated V12 Lamborghini before the Aventador's hybrid tech and electronics took over. Average sale price ~$670K (£530K) shows it trades well below later SVJ and Performante models despite rarer production and greater drama. The LP670-4 SV has not experienced the same speculation as Aventador SVJ yet offers comparable theatre, rarity, and the appeal of being pre-digital. Strong value proposition at current levels given iconic scissor doors, 670hp, and last-of-line status.
