The thesis

The original Gallardo Superleggera (2007–08) produced only 618 units globally, with the 6-speed manual offered as a no-cost option but rarely specified. This first-generation Superleggera sheds 100 kg and adds 10 hp over the standard Gallardo (530 hp, 5.0L V10). It predates the more common LP570-4 Superleggera (2010+, 1,232 units). Pre-LP manual Gallardos represent 6–8% of production; the 2007–08 manual Superleggera is exponentially rarer. Current pricing £120–200k positions it at the lower end of this budget with significant upside as collectors chase the earliest, rarest naturally aspirated manuals before values run.
