The thesis
The Gallardo was offered with a six-speed manual throughout its production run, but the vast majority were sold with E-Gear. The LP560-4 facelift (2009+) brought a 5.2L V10 with 560hp, sharper styling, and improved dynamics. Manual examples are exceptionally rare and undervalued relative to contemporary Ferrari and Porsche manuals. Current UK pricing shows LP560-4 coupes trading £80–110k, with manuals commanding a small premium. The market has not yet recognized the rarity.
