Is the Ferrari 599 a good investment?
GTO (2010–2012)
The thesis
Only the third Ferrari to wear the GTO badge, the 599 GTO is a 661hp road-legal version of the 599XX track car. With just 599 built globally, it is rarer than the 458 Speciale and represents the last naturally aspirated front-engine V12 GT from Maranello. Recent auction results show €760–950k (£650–815k) in Europe, with outliers reaching $2.04M (Monterey Aug 2025). Average sale price ~$1.04M (~£830k). The GTO sits in the sweet spot: past the initial depreciation trough, still climbing, and not yet at the stratospheric multiples of 250 or 288 GTOs. Dual-clutch only; a track-focused brute, not a daily driver.
