Is the Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider a good investment?
16M (2009 MY)
The thesis
One of just 499 produced to celebrate Ferrari's 16th F1 Constructor's Championship, the 16M is the last naturally aspirated, hydraulic-steering mid-engine V8 Ferrari convertible. Recent market action shows 16Ms breaking £1m at auction in exceptional spec, but good examples still trade £250–400k in Europe. The generational significance—bridge between analog and digital Ferrari—is only now being priced in; we are mid-cycle as collectors recognize what cannot be recreated.
