Is the Dodge Viper a good investment?
ACR (VX I, 2016-2017)
The thesis
The fifth-generation Viper ACR is the final iteration of Dodge's legendary V10 supercar, and it went out with a bang—holding multiple track records and delivering 1,500lbs of downforce. With only 206 ACRs built (out of ~1,500 fifth-gen Vipers total), it represents the last naturally-aspirated, manual American supercar. Average sale prices sit around $265,000, but exceptional low-mileage examples with the Extreme Aero Package have hit $533,000. The car has already doubled in value since 2017, yet it remains in early cycle as broader collector recognition is still building. This is the affordable alternative to seven-figure exotics.
