The thesis

Legendary 7.0L LS7 naturally aspirated V8 (505 hp), 6-speed manual, and supercar-level performance for fraction of European rivals. Average US auction price is $52k (£41k); clean low-mileage examples with desirable options (Carbon Edition, 427 LE) stretch to £55–70k. C6 Z06 is still early cycle—underappreciated versus C5 Z06 and dramatically cheaper than C7 Z06, yet the LS7 is peak American NA V8. Low production special editions and sub-20k-mile examples are beginning to be recognized as collectible. Excellent value, capital preservation likely, especially for limited editions.
