The first-generation R8 V10 with manual gearbox (discontinued after Gen 1) mates a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 with a true six-speed manual—Audi's only supercar with three pedals. Gen 2 went dual-clutch only. RHD UK cars are rare; many manuals were LHD exports. Shared mechanicals with Lamborghini Gallardo but at half the cost. Strong daily usability, Audi reliability. Underappreciated vs Porsche equivalents; early cycle position as manual R8 scarcity becomes apparent.
