The thesis

The first-generation Audi R8 V10 with the gated six-speed manual is one of the most underappreciated naturally aspirated V10 supercars. Sharing its 5.2L engine with the Gallardo (525 hp), the R8 is more daily-usable, less ostentatious, and crucially more affordable. Manual examples are exceptionally rare (only 8 US-spec 2015 V10 manuals were built), and recent sales of clean, low-mileage cars sit around £95,000–£125,000. The market has cooled slightly in 2026, offering a window before the next appreciation leg.
