Is the Alfa Romeo GTV a good investment?
GTV 3.2 V6 24v (2003-2005)
The thesis
The Alfa GTV 3.2 V6 24v with the Busso V6 is one of the last great naturally-aspirated Alfas and the final iteration of the iconic GTV lineage. Trading at £8k-£16k, it sits well below budget but represents a sleeper opportunity. The 3.2 Busso is rightly celebrated (last of breed, emotive soundtrack) and the GTV's Pininfarina design has aged superbly. Low production numbers, especially in well-maintained manual form, and the end of Alfa's driver-focused era make this a strong long-term hold. However, it's a niche marque with slower liquidity and rust/reliability concerns. Early cycle, but buyer base is narrow.
