Is the Alfa Romeo 4C a good investment?
Coupé & Spider (2013–2020)
The thesis
The Alfa 4C is the only modern car with a carbon-fibre monocoque under £100k when new (£45k–£60k). Just ~600 UK RHD examples make it genuinely rare. While it lacks a manual gearbox (dual-clutch TCT only), the 1.75L turbo four, sub-1,000kg kerb weight, and no power steering deliver analogue thrills. Recent market data shows values rising from £35k two years ago to £40k+ now. Limited special editions like the 50th Anniversary Spider (50 UK cars) command £50k+. Underappreciated at launch, now gaining cult status.
